MJM & The Team
MJM was hired to give a new, fresh look to the Penn Mart in Dallas. The building is located on the corner of 415 and 118 in Dallas, Pennsylvania. It is now home to a convenience store, Dunkin' Donuts, and Jay's Famous Roast Beef & Pork.
For this project, we ripped off the existing gable roof structure and added all new low-slope pre-fabricated wood trusses. The whole building got a facelift featuring stone veneer, cement board siding, and goose neck lighting was used to give it an upscale feel. The new Penn Mart opened in early June of this year.
MJM was brought in to design a brand new Dunkin' Donuts in Montrose, Pennsylvania. The client requested that we break the mold and design a never-before-seen Dunkin' that had a Traditional Coastal Style.
We delivered by giving it an elegant look, using stone veneer and cement board siding. Then we took it a step further and added gabled dormers and roof bracket corbels. The Tower was given an ombre feel using colors ranging from Espresso to Latte. The store opened in early April, 2016.
MJM was brought in to design the new façade for Gerrity's Supermarket, which will anchor the Mount Effort Shopping Plaza. The new design will have a shop-like façade and other architectural features that comply with a recently adopted ordinance aimed at improving aesthetics in Chestnut Township, Pennsylvania.
MJM was hired by the Franchisee to provide Architectural drawings for the new construction of a 2,695 s.f. "Popeye's" Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This is the first "Popeye's" location in Northeast Pennsylvania. The store opened in late December, 2015.
MJM was hired to do the design & construction documents for this state of the art multimedia/technology workshop in the Innovation Center of Wilkes-Barre.
This will be a common space for students & businesses to come together to meet & develop new, innovative technology, and programs.
